From humble beginnings, chef and owner Carlos Rosas has worked for more than 16 years in the restaurant industry, including Jardinière, Kokkari, The Slanted Door, Lark Creek inn, and Cavallo Point. This hands-on experience led him to continue his inspiration and dedication to creating new and healthy alternatives for Mexican food lovers. After a successful experience in the Marin Farmers Market, Carlos is bringing all their experience and, partnering with local farmers, the best ingredients for his marvelous food that you will really enjoy now at The Barlow.

Richard Dickson

Administrative Manager

Mayra oversees all the administrative task for Barrio Family.


She is the one behind the scene. Always looking for perfection and dedicated to the restaurant and her family.

Lana Stevens

Director of Kitchen Operations

She is the Living Legend at Barrio.


Originally from Mexico, she is the chef's mother and the one that cultivate him with all the passion for cooking while taking care of mother earth.
